Bailey

Bailey just returned to her lessons, after a summer in a Performing Arts Camp.   She studied acting, dance , voice and all other arts pertaining to performing.  They had artists from the Strip hotels as coaches, and dancers from Le Cirque. This must have been very exciting for ten-year old Bailey.  Ten, Ten, did I say that ? I have had her for 3 three years !  I am watching these kids grow up. When Bailey first started, I asked ” what artists do you like?”  “Oh, The Carpenters and stuff like that!”  OK , My kind of girl. We did “Close to you” and her mom Lori and I cried. Not from her perfect voice, we still are working on that control and pitch, but the emotion, and phrasing, well, is that of a seasoned professional.

What an actress she would make because of the maturity of her emotions. I have never seen that raw emotion from someone under 17 or so. As we hopefully continue our journey, we will nail, that pitch and we will have her kick it up a notch, and I will  still be proud, just even more so.
